At some point, we all realize that our parents are just human and vulnerable to all the feelings and problems as all of us human beings. As humans, we assume much and as parents, we often don’t see the child in front of us as an individual person with needs and things that are important to them as individuals. Not all parents have the emotional or psychological resources to understand and give. Giving yourself perspective is good. Finding our own way in the world is all we can do.
