Blazed Trails

Following a mystic path

I mark my place
in poetry books
with feathers.

But a feather
is not a soaring bird

and words
only
point to a thought.

I am a poet, a philosopher, a seeker.
I am what was once called ‘an intellectual’.

I am just another caffeine fiend trying to get by.

I am honored to be a part of this community.
Thank you for being a part of my journey.
