I decided the same thing, but I went directly for the mohawk. I had long hair in the ’70s but ended up cutting it and eventually shaving it all down. Last year I began only shaving the sides and my partner said she thought that I should let the top grow long. I also have a Fu Manchu-ish mustache. I am surprised at all the compliments I get from people of all ages.
