Thank you for being so real in this article.There’s a lot of things it brought up for me. I won’t go into them here.

I’m almost 70 years old (I say that because I am a proud survivor of life with mental illness.)

I was able to hide or ignore my problems until 12 years ago when I wrapped myself around a psychological pole and started having sever panic attacks, anxiety and depression. I became incapacitated for longer than ever before. Recently got an ADHD diagnosis, which put my life and problems into perspective.

I’ve been a lot of places, internally and in the real world, that would not have happened if I was “normal”.
